Shotover River
Our most popular river, you'll travel along the historic 1860's goldminers track - Skippers Road. Arrive at Deep Creek and it's time to raft!
Practice your paddle techniques before hitting the white water rapids such as Rock Garden, Toilet, Squeeze, Oh Sh*t and Pinball to name a few. You'll tackle the unforgettable 170m Oxenbridge Tunnel, before bursting into Cascade Rapid to complete this action packed adventure!
Kawarau River
Suited to those looking for a more relaxed rafting experience. Immersed in the scenic Gibbston Valley, paddle through the Lord of the Rings 'Pillar of the Kins' and under the Kawarau Bungy Bridge.
Raft the memorable rapids of Twin Bridges, Do-Little-Do-Nothing and the famous 400m Dog Leg - New Zealand's longest commercially rafted rapid!
Landsborough Wilderness Experience
(3 day trip, available in Summer, November 1 - March 31)
The Landsborough Valley is one of New Zealand’s most isolated specially protected areas – untouched, unspoiled, visited by only a privileged few.
The river trip begins in the very heart of this wilderness country. Your small group will glide past glaciers, 10,000ft mountains and dense rainforests. As you camp and paddle your way down the Landsborough River, you will have plenty of time to experience outdoor activities such as bush walking, hiking, and canyoning through ancient beech forests - the habitat of a variety of native birds.
All you require is a sense of adventure and love of the great outdoors, to explore the splendour of this remote mountain valley in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
