K2Q Walk and Run
The K2Q is a Off Road 20.5km run with a 10k run and walk incorporated. Beginning on Bay View Road in Kelvin Heights athletes run around the Kelvin Heights on the secluded golf course track joining the Kelvin Heights walking track at The Grove continuing out to the Kawarau Falls Bridge where it joins the Frankton Track. Then following the shore line of Lake Wakatipu around the picturesque Queenstown Gardens to the finish line by the steamer wharf in Queenstown Bay in the middle of town. A beautiful undulating run around the shoreline of the lake Wakatipu. We also incorporate a 10k run and walk starting at Frankton.
This Race attracts people from all over the country and participants from over the globe have competed.
